Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how Dominion Media (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit the Sermon Studio website, purchase or activate a subscription, use the macOS app, or contact support. Sermon Publisher is a separate internal utility and is not part of the customer-facing service.

2. Information we handle

Account, billing, and licensing

Our payment and licensing provider supplies information needed to operate your subscription, including your name, email address, customer and order identifiers, subscription status and dates, product identifiers, and license status. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Sermon Studio.

Device activation

When you activate the app, we process a device label, app and operating-system versions, activation and last-seen times, and protected identifiers used to enforce the two-Mac limit. Full license keys and raw device tokens are not stored in our backend database.

Sermon and hosted-processing content

Your imported media, local transcriptions, edits, projects, and exports stay on your Mac unless you intentionally use a hosted generation feature. For those requests, the necessary text passes through our Cloudflare-hosted service to Google Gemini. Sermon text, instructions, and generated responses are processed transiently and are not intentionally stored in our backend database or usage logs.

Usage and support metadata

We record limited operational metadata such as the requested action, model, token counts, estimated cost, duration, outcome, time, and non-content request identifiers. If you contact support, we receive the information included in your message.

3. How we use information

• Provide, activate, secure, and support Sermon Studio.
• Administer trials, subscriptions, cancellations, device limits, and billing status.
• Complete the hosted processing requests you initiate.
• Monitor reliability, unusual usage, security, and service costs.
• Send transactional, support, security, and material service notices.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect users and the service.

4. Service providers

We use Lemon Squeezy and its payment infrastructure for checkout, merchant-of-record services, taxes, subscriptions, receipts, and licensing; Cloudflare for domain, security, API, database, and email-routing services; Google Gemini for user-requested text generation and processing; and email providers for support. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use sermon content for advertising.

5. Retention

We retain account, subscription, device, security, support, and usage records only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and meet accounting or legal obligations. Content sent for hosted processing is not intentionally retained in the Sermon Studio backend after the request completes. Local projects remain under your control on your Mac.

6. Your choices and rights

You may cancel through the customer billing portal. Contact support@sermonstudioapp.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control. We may verify your identity, and some records may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes. Your location may provide additional privacy rights.

7. Security and international processing

We use safeguards including encrypted transport, restricted production secrets, protected credential storage, hashed backend identifiers, and separate staging and production systems. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries with different data-protection laws.

8. Children

Sermon Studio is a ministry-production tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the service.

9. Changes and contact
